Kataisk Priority Social and Economic Development Area (PSEDA) is an economic zone with beneficial tax conditions, simplified administrative procedures. The purpose of creating PSEDA is to create favorable conditions for attracting investments, ensuring accelerated socio-economic development and creating conditions to provide comfortable life of the population.

There are tax benefits for residents on the territory of Kataisk Priority Social and Economic Development Area. Land tax and property tax is 0%. Federal income tax is 5% during the first 5 years of enterprise operation, during the next 5 years, it is 13%, instead of 20% at the current rate. Insurance payments will amount to only 7.6%, while the current rate in the Russian Federation is 30%.

The measures to create a special economic zone of an industrial production type in the Kurgan Region are included in the Individual Program of Socio-Economic Development of the Kurgan Region for the period of 2020-2024, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated February 25, 2020 No. 422-p.
