The Regional Investment Standard is a system for supporting new investment projects in the Kurgan region.
The standard is a tool for creating favorable conditions for doing business in the region and is designed to systematize the work on attracting investors.
The essence of the mechanism for the formation and implementation of a new investment project support system is the implementation of clearly defined rules and regulations for all participants in the investment process: investors, government agencies, and resource-supplying organizations.
The standard establishes uniform requirements for authorities on the organization of work with investors and on the support of investment projects, specific stages and deadlines for joining engineering and transport infrastructure facilities.

THE MAIN ELEMENTS OF THE REGIONAL INVESTMENT STANDARD:
A list of obligations to the investor on the non-deterioration of the conditions for the implementation of investment projects.
The Kurgan Region Investment Agency Fund was registered in 2009.
The main goals and objectives of the Investment Agency:
– implementation of activities of federal, regional and municipal programs for the development and support of entrepreneurship, participation in financing programs, as well as projects and activities aimed at supporting and developing entrepreneurship and industry in the Kurgan region, including activities conducted by the Government of the Kurgan region;
– support for investment activities, providing access to small and medium–sized businesses and infrastructure support organizations for small and medium–sized businesses (hereinafter referred to as support infrastructure organizations), as well as individuals who are not individual entrepreneurs and apply a special tax regime “Professional Income Tax” (hereinafter referred to as individuals applying a special tax regime) access to credit and other financial resources;
– development of a system of guarantees for the obligations of small and medium-sized businesses, support infrastructure organizations, individuals applying a special tax regime;
– attracting investments into the economy of the Kurgan region and implementing investment projects within the framework of legislation;
– providing property support to investors, including small and medium-sized businesses and industrial entities of the Kurgan region through the provision of state property of the Kurgan region in accordance with the procedure and on conditions determined by the legislation of the Russian Federation and the Kurgan region;
– provision of information and consulting services to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, individuals;
– assistance in establishing contacts between investors and investment applicants.

Employees of the Kurgan Region Investment Agency provide advisory support to investors, explain the procedure for technological connection to infrastructure networks, and provide contacts of responsible persons in resource-supplying organizations.
The Investment Agency of the Kurgan region is the coordinator and regulator in terms of interaction with resource-supplying organizations. Carries out the settlement of problematic issues through meetings of the commission.
A platform for resolving disagreements between the investor, the authorities of the Kurgan region, local governments, authorized organizations in a pre-trial manner.
