The winners of the Best Investment Project competition will receive 250 thousand rubles each. It is carried out by the Department of Economic Development on behalf of the Governor Vadim Shumkov.

Applications are accepted in several nominations: “Industrial sphere”, “Sphere of roadside service”, “Sphere of catering services”, “Sphere of recreation and tourism”. Investment projects included in the register of investment projects in the Kurgan region can apply for a grant. They must be implemented in 2020 or 2021 by legal entities or individual entrepreneurs making capital investments in the region and being taxpayers in the Kurgan region.

“Experts will evaluate projects according to several criteria, including the relevance and social significance of the investment project for the Kurgan region, the volume of investments, the number of jobs created and the size of wages. Grants in the amount of 250 thousand rubles, the winner in each nomination, according to the terms of the competition, must spend as follows – send 50% to the salaries of their employees, 50% to the further development of the project (updating equipment, premises, software, improving the qualifications of employees, participating in exhibitions ) “, – said the director of the department of economic development Vladimir Kovalev.
