Today, September 16, the delegation of the Kurgan region took part in the opening of the twentieth universal regional trade and industrial exhibition forum “ARMENIA EXPO 2021” in Yerevan. This is a significant, authoritative event in the entrepreneurial life of Armenia.

The exhibition brings together the largest manufacturers and entrepreneurs on its site. Our delegation includes the enterprises “Temper” LLC, “Techstroy” LLC and “ITM Spetsmashina” LLC. Participation in the exhibition was organized by the Export Support Center of the Investment Agency of the Kurgan Region. The Kurgan participants plan to expand cooperation with Armenia, for example, ITM Spetsmashina is already carrying out spot shipments of road and communal equipment, but the plans are to agree on continuous sales. In addition, the Kurgan businessmen have in advance formed a pool of interested enterprises, with which they plan to negotiate.

Our enterprises are also interested in Armenia as a capacious construction market with significant potential. According to the analytical portal of the Russian Export Center JSC, the trade turnover between the Kurgan region and the Republic of Armenia in 2020 amounted to 0.65 million US dollars, while the share of non-primary goods in exports was 100%. The export structure includes: automotive equipment – 37.01, pharmaceutical products – 26.35%, finished products based on flour – 19.51%, optics, devices, medical equipment, etc.

In addition to Russian, 170 representatives from Belarus, Germany, Georgia, India, Iran, China, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine, and the Czech Republic are taking part in the exhibition.
