An entrepreneur from Kurgan won the final of the All-Russian competition “Young Entrepreneur of Russia 2021”

Last weekend, the final of the Young Entrepreneur of Russia 2021 competition was held in Moscow. Promising operating business projects were selected from 43 regions of Russia, in total, more than 300 applications were submitted for the competition.

The winner in the special category “Women’s Entrepreneurship” was Evgenia Moskovenkova, a manufacturer of special covers for the Ilizarov apparatus from the Kurgan region.

The competition was held in two stages. First, a regional (qualifying) round in Kurgan, which Evgenia won in the nomination “social entrepreneurship”, then – the federal (final) round. Applications were assessed by employees of higher education organizations, representatives of public organizations and foundations, entrepreneurs with extensive experience on a number of criteria: from the state of financial indicators to the number of new jobs provided by the company.

“First of all, I want to thank the Center for Entrepreneurship Support and the Investment Agency of the Kurgan Region for organizing the competition and support, without which my entrepreneurial path could be much more difficult. Within the walls of the Foundation, I went through not a single business training, with the help of specialists from the Export Support Center, I went to the international level: now our products can be bought almost anywhere in the world through e-bay. They helped me to create a website and a catalog in English, right now the covers are being certified for compliance with international quality standards. Almost all services were rendered to me free of charge! ”

Anna Agafonova, General Director of the Investment Agency of the Kurgan Region Fund, emphasized the importance of the event: “Young Entrepreneur of Russia” has been held since 2010, and Evgenia is the first entrepreneur from the Kurgan Region to win it at the federal level over the past 5 years. Using Evgenia as an example, we see how dedication, hard work and timely support can lead to success, how new horizons open up and business grows: from a home workshop to a production workshop that sews products all over the world.
Evgenia Moskovenkova has been supported by the Fund for several years, and has won regional competitions more than once. Last year, the production of medical covers by IP Moskovenkov was recognized as the best social project. Then the trip to the federal stage of the competition fell through due to the pandemic, and today we rejoice at its victory together, our task of developing entrepreneurship is being fulfilled in full. “
